What is Educators Rising?
Educators Rising is an organization that prepares students as early as middle school to be future teachers. Students learn and grow together, and showcase their skills at state and national conferences by competing in a variety of competitions and contests. The Maryland State Educators Rising conference is hose annually in the Spring by Towson University.

Conference Volunteers
-
Throughout the state conference in the Spring, which will take place this year on April 24th & 25th, many volunteers are needed to ensure everything runs smoothly. Some examples of takes you may be asked to perform are:
-
Tabling for Teachers of Towson of the College of Education to recruit new members and rising college freshmen!
-
Supervising breakout sessions to observe and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You may also need to assist if some technical difficulties or materials need to be distributed to those attending.
-
Escorting students to and from different events, such as campus tours, scavenger hunts, breakout rooms in other building, or planetarium shows.
